DRYER VENT CLEANING

Home entry necessary.

Technician(s) will enter home implementing all safety and sanitary procedures.

Clean Lint trap, screen, inspect and clean easily accessible transition hose.
-
Clean the Dryer exhaust vent, termination cover.
-
Assess for excessive back pressure in vent.
-
Verify satisfactory dryer exhaust air velocity at the termination point.
-
Inspect the termination cap, cover and/or jack.
-
Conduct a visual inspection of the vent as allowable.
-
Determine if the vent meets the proper safety codes.
-
Document and photograph any concerns.
-
Offer recommendations for improved dryer exhaust performance and/or inform the customer of any safety concerns.

Leave a documented service report with signature.

**It is always recommended that a qualified dryer vent technician inspect and clean inside the rear of the dryer housing appliance to include the trap, heating element and blower area.

Cleaning the dryer exhaust vent from the termination cap to the transition hose area and/or inside the wall cavity of the transition hose to extract the maximum amount of lint/debris.

Cleaning the termination cap, cover, jack.

Conducting a exterior visual inspection of the vent, as allowable.

Verify satisfactory dryer exhaust air velocity at the termination point. *Homeowner/Tenant or a designated person will need to be present to turn on/off the dryer appliance.

Document and take digital photographs of any concerns (exterior only).

Offer any recommendations for improved dryer exhaust performance or inform the customer of any safety concerns (exterior only).

Leave a documented service report with signature.
